Why subscribe?

If you’re reading this, you are thinking about signing up for my newsletter. Why not? You can always cancel it. You will get an email every time I publish a story, with a little backstory from me on how I got the idea for the story and what the reporting process was like. I’ll also tell you a little about what’s in the story, but not too much, because really, you should read the story, not the Cliff Notes.

Other reasons to subscribe:

  1. You are my grandmother and don’t understand Twitter but still want to know when I publish stories

  2. You like my journalism and want to at least know what I’m working on, even if you might not have time to actually read it

  3. You want to learn more about what goes on behind the scenes to make journalism actually happen, and understand that all the movies where female journalists sleep with their sources are BAD

  4. You are my mother and don’t understand Twitter but still want to know when I publish stories
